It appears that I will be purchasing my food from one of your competitors (Price Chopper or Sun Fresh) in the future. I have been a long time customer at this store and today I was treated by your front end manager as though I was a crook, when he told the cashier that the online coupon I had, provided by vendor representatives such as Grocery Coupon Network, Grocery Coupon Spot, and Daily Grocery Coupon would no longer be accepted.

His comment implied that others like myself modified coupons in an attempt to deceive HyVee. His mannerism was also less than tactful, curt, and abrasive. Whether your policy changes or not, this individual should attend some training on interpersonal behavior and problem solving. There was no "I'm sorry but....", or "I'm sure that this is not you but this is the problem we are experiencing".

But right away and automatically I am lumped into the "guilty category!" Then he turned around and hurriedly left. I was tempted to tell him and you as I am doing now to take your groceries and shove them! In the future, I will do my business elsewhere and suggest to all my family, friends and neighbors that they do the same. I have had great relations with Jarrad Adams in the past as he well knows and I am not a person who engages in conflict.

But you all have crossed the line when it comes to a few cents on the dollar in the overall scheme of things. If that is an indication of how you care about and treat customers, then " So Long!" Furthermore, your policy is inconsistent with other HyVee locations that I called after leaving your store who do accept the coupons your manager denied. Anyone could have checked the fine print around the edges of the coupon to verify its validity. This fine print cannot be modified!

I intend to elevate this to your home office as well. In final, I don't accept the "label" your representative implied!

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I can't believe an individual would make such judgemental statements without having walked in my shoes at the time. The situation was resolved long ago! Whining baby.
